Recreation Centre

The Recreation Centre was originally constructed in 1980 and has recently seen a substantial upgrade.

The complex caters for a number of indoor sports such as Netball, Volleyball, Squash, Basketball and Badminton. The facility also has a 12 rink Bowling Green, outdoor Netball & Basketball courts, 4 turf Cricket wickets, a Football oval and 2 grass Hockey fields. The  grass facilities are all automatically reticulated from dams surrounding the town. Flood lighting has also been installed at the oval to encourage night competitions and training.

In 2017, Council saw the completion of the Synthetic Hockey Turf project. This facility is for the sole purpose of hockey and is a state of the art regional facility. The installation of floodlighting was completed in 2020. 

Other sporting facilities in the area include Pony and Polocrosse grounds.
